Chronic Pain
If you have been suffering with chronic pain in the neck, back, arms, or
legs, the neuroscan may be the answer to localizing the affected nerves
which can be targeted for better pain control and prevention of further
injury. It is a painless test where an electrical signal passes through
the skin to the nerve, detecting injury. Research has shown that 1/3 of
patients feel pain coming from a location other than the area of injury
due to the complexity of the nerveous system. In 1 in 6 times, the pain is
felt opposite to the side of injury. This misdirection in pain sensation
is one of the major reasons that pain treatment and surgeries fail to
provide adequate relief of pain. The neuroscan is very accurate in localizing the pain, assisting the doctor in followup testing so that treatment can proceed with a greater degree of certainty and effectiveness.
